As much as we all want to believe that Obama has been doing his best for the country the speculation from the opposition is often too difficult to ignore. What is in the best interest for our country and why is getting deeper in national debt going to help us out in the long run. With all the fighting between the politicians and the race to beat each other down how can we really trust any of them. Is it remotely true, the old saying that no politician can be trusted, most people would agree. We need to trust somebody otherwise what is the point of electing a president?

The Bushes took us into a war that the country never wanted and now we are still cleaning up the mess as well as now being in constant fear or retaliation from radical extremists. Today we have the Tea Party who is doing their best to make everyone look like fools including some of their own members. Why are they spending hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars in tax payers money on there bring down slogans and ad campaigns.

We need to find a trust worth source of government who will start to look after our best interests and not just their own. The rich get richer while the poor get poorer and now the sick don’t know if they have health benefits or not. The country is still in crisis even though there seems to be a slow stopping motion in the big crisis turning wheel. So Obama has done some good yet nine out of ten people would probably not vote him back in. It takes more than 4 years to solve big problems like these and changing government’s just means you are going to through a spanner in the works of the bigger picture.

The Tea Party Movement is a social political group that started in 2009. The movement, which is a group of individuals striving to protect the rights of the citizens of the United States of America, began mostly when groups of protestors organized protests on both local and national levels.

What Has the Tea Party Movement Protested?

The modern Tea Party Movement is mostly known for the protests that they have staged. Some of the issues that the Tea Party Movement have protested are: the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008; the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009; the Federal Reserve Transparency Act; and multiple health care reform bills.

The History and Main Focus of the Tea Party Movement

The modern Tea Party Movement takes its name from the historic Boston Tea Party. This event that took place in 1773 still stands as one of the most notable events in history, and took place when American colonists stood up against the British taxation on tea. The 1773 Boston Tea Party is still used as one of the most widely used representations of unfair government taxation on the people.

The Tea Party Movement of today stands for much of what the 1773 Boston Tea Party stood for. However, individuals that are part of the movement often use the acronym to stand for “Taxed Enough Already.”

British Prime Minister David Cameron made his first steps on the international scene this week at the G8 summits in Canada and the G20, an opportunity to assess the scope of the new guidelines announced by the government’s foreign policy.

The Prime Minister, took office in May to head a coalition government between Conservatives and Liberal Democrats, the G20 would have to plead for a deficit reduction and a tax credit.

The summits will provide an opportunity to meet many world leaders face to face for the first time since taking the office, including U.S. President Barack Obama, the Chinese President Hu Jintao, the Russian president Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh .

David Cameron said he wanted a “new special relationship” with India and closer ties with China and a strengthening of trade with countries like South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

His Foreign Minister William Hague has raised a “new beginning” and “a more ambitious approach” of British diplomacy after 13 years of government Labour.

“I think (David Cameron) wants to be seen along with Manmohan Singh and Hu Jintao to illustrate the broad approach for Foreign Affairs that London has raised,” he told AFP Robin Niblett, director of business research International Chatham House.

“This government recognizes the need to a less passionate relationship with the United States,” he added.

The relationship between Barack Obama and David Cameron had a difficult start due to the severe criticism of the White House to the company BP, which is based in Britain, after the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Thanks again to Twitter and other social networking sites, pictures are flooding in of the streets of Washington D.C. packed with American citizens who are tired of big government spending, poor decisions on health care reform, and overall, tired and scared of being drained through over-taxing.

No surprise here – the other big networks are giving the protest little to no coverage at all, even though there are reports of over a million protesters on the ground (there aren’t any official numbers yet, but just look at the pictures and judge for yourself). Fox News has been on the story for a better portion of the day, which is just another reason why their ratings triple that of competing news outlets.

Here are a few pictures of the 912 D.C. march I’ve found on Twitter:

The big government freeloading left-wingers are out in full force on Twitter, constantly attacking 912 supporters. To show your support, include #912dc in your tweets.

Glenn Beck will be broadcasting live from the event tomorrow, and with his extremely high ratings, it will certainly draw millions of viewers (not to mention the estimated possibility of 1+ million 9-12 supporters that may show up).

With D.C. weather expected to peak at 74 degrees, combined with the excitement and buzz about this long anticipated project, the conditions are ripe for a very large turnout.

@PatriciaSmiley on Twitter is already sharing pictures of 9-12 supporters gathering in D.C the night before the big day:

The 9-12-09 taxpayer march on D.C. will mark one of the largest gathering of concerned, tax paying citizens of all time. September 12th, 2009 should be quite an interesting and exciting day, even if you have to watch it on television.

The public went nuts, and rightfully so.

Then came July 31st, and it was time for recess.

Now today, September 8th, after literally thousands of town-hall meetings, extreme amounts of press coverage, and internal conflict, Congress will reconvene and jump into the pilot’s seat once again in an effort to get the proverbial ball rolling before Obama steps up to the plate Wednesday night, hoping to hit a grand slam with America.

Here’s a status update of what’s currently going on inside Congress:

1. Republicans are almost unanimously against pretty much anything the left drafts up that has any remote hint of a public option.

2. Pelosi and Hoyer are having a hard time deciding which caucus bloc to side with, as it will inevitably create conflict with the other ones.

3. Liberals, who have strength in numbers in the House, say that without a public option in the bill, we might as well not even have reform.

4. More than 60 House democrats, last month, sent a letter to Pelosi vowing with certainty to vote down any bill that doesn’t have a public option.

5. Obama has been playing the same record for a month now, saying the same thing over and over. Rep. Brad Miller (D-NC) summed it up nicely with the following quote, “”President Obama needs to start talking about what’s in the bill, not what’s not in the bill. Whenever I see him on TV, he’s talking about what’s not in the bill.”

6. A large number of dems don’t want the House to do anything until they have a good idea of what will happen in the Senate.

There’s a lot more going on, but the above points are ones I thought were interesting. Some are saying that the September 9th speech that Obama will deliver in front of a joint session of Congress will be the most important speech of his career. I think many will agree with that. Again, if he wants ANY job security, I hope he has some different talking points up his sleeve, because we’re TIRED of the same old “broken record” blah blah blib blab.

Perhaps instead of trying to rush and blind-side America with a multi-trillion dollar health care reform bill, we can focus on bringing the economy back to a level playing field. We’re close, according to many analysts, but throw several more trillion dollars on the tab, and we’re going to paying through the nose for some time to come.

What are your thoughts? What do you expect out of the big speech Wednesday? What would you like to hear?

While there are plenty of you that are probably still not allowing your children to watch the Presidential speech to school children tomorrow (which is fine, because you have the right to do that), I decided to list some of the main talking points of the speech below. You can decide for yourself if it is appropriate for your child.

1. Intro includes the story about his mother teaching him extra lessons at 4:30 in the morning, because they couldn’t afford to go to school where the American kids went to school (they were living in Indonesia).

2. “I’m here because I want to talk with you about your education and what’s expected of all of you in this new school year.”

3. “I’ve talked about your teachers’ responsibility for inspiring you, and pushing you to learn.”

4. “I’ve talked about your parents’ responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and get your homework done, and don’t spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox.” (nice plug for Microsoft there….bet Sony and Nintendo are pissed)

5. “Unless you show up to those schools; pay attention to those teachers; listen to your parents, grandparents and other adults; and put in the hard work it takes to succeed.”

6. Next couple of paragraphs talk about how “you’re all good at something, but you have to figure out what it is through hard work, and that you’ll need a good education to succeed, etc.”

7. “You’ll need the insights and critical thinking skills you gain in history and social studies to fight poverty and homelessness, crime and discrimination, and make our nation more fair and more free.” (I knew the community organizer part was coming out at some point)

8. Talks about how he didn’t have a father growing up and then says, “So I wasn’t always as focused as I should have been. I did some things I’m not proud of, and got in more trouble than I should have. And my life could have easily taken a turn for the worse.”

9. “But at the end of the day, the circumstances of your life — what you look like, where you come from, how much money you have, what you’ve got going on at home — that’s no excuse for neglecting your homework or having a bad attitude.”

10. Next several paragraphs highlight individual stories of children who faced challenges of varying degrees, and overcame them.

11. “That’s why today, I’m calling on each of you to set your own goals for your education — and to do everything you can to meet them.”

12. “Maybe you’ll decide to get involved in an extracurricular activity, or volunteer in your community.” (THERE IT IS! Haha!)

13. “I hope you’ll all wash your hands a lot, and stay home from school when you don’t feel well, so we can keep people from getting the flu this fall and winter.”

14. “No one’s born being good at things, you become good at things through hard work.”

15. “Because when you give up on yourself, you give up on your country.”

16. “Students who sat where you sit 20 years ago who founded Google, Twitter and Facebook and changed the way we communicate with each other” (really, Twitter and Facebook are 20 years old, eh Mr. Pres?)

17. “So today, I want to ask you, what’s your contribution going to be? What problems are you going to solve? What discoveries will you make? What will a president who comes here in twenty or fifty or one hundred years say about what all of you did for this country.”

18. “I’m working hard to fix up your classrooms and get you the books, equipment and computers you need to learn. But you’ve got to do your part too. So I expect you to get serious this year.”

So in all honesty, assuming he sticks to that script, the speech isn’t bad at all. Nothing in there that will turn your children into little Obamites. To read the script in full, you can see it here.

Are you letting your child or children listen to the speech? If not, why not? Let us know in the comments below!
