Just when you thought ACORN couldn’t get any nuttier (nice, right?), more ACORN fraudsters in the Washington office were let go for advising the undercover pimp and prostitute (James O’Keefe, Hannah Giles) on how to obtain illegal home loans to set up a brothel.

This round of firings came less than 24 hours when the first video from the Baltimore office surfaced, showing a couple of genius ACORN workers advising the civilian investigators on how to falsify tax forms and gain illegal benefits from a dozen underage El Salvadorian girls they were pretending to bring into the country to work for them.

ACORN leaders stated Friday that they were “appalled and angry” at the behavior of their staffers. Of course, they’re still crying foul, as they are convinced it was a political smear campaign orchestrated by conservative activists.

According to Fox News:

Rep. Charles Boustany, R-La., called for a hearing to investigate ACORN’s tax filing assistance programs following the release of the videos he said suggested multiple incidents of tax fraud.

“In light of the apparent flagrant and willful attempts to suborn tax fraud, I … (am seeking) a hearing of the Oversight Subcommittee of the House Ways and Means Committee as soon as practicable to investigate ACORN’s activities,” he said Friday.

Smear or not, we’re lucky that this brave undercover “pretend” couple got these incidents on video – which leaves no room for denial. If this is happening in one or two offices, one might assume that this kind of fraud is happening on a daily basis in ACORN offices across the country – all with the help of your tax dollars.
