acornACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), one of the most controversial advocacy groups for poor people, fired two of their Baltimore, MD employees after they were caught on film advising a couple pretending to be a prostitute and a pimp on how to evade the IRS and set up a prostitution ring for more than a dozen underage girls from El Salvador, South America.

The couple who posed as the pimp and prostitute were two conservative activists by the name of James O’Keefe, and Hannah Giles. They tried similar sting operations in several other major cities before the Baltimore attempt. As seen in the video, the two Baltimore ACORN employees were very enthusiastic and willing to offer tips and advice on how to claim the underage girls as dependents.

According to Margaret Williams, ACORN Maryland board member, she said in a statement that the video was an attempt to smear ACORN, and that undercover teams attempted similar setups in at least three other ACORN offices.

ACORN has been accused of voter fraud and other scandalous activities in the past, and has been the target of conservative activists and media, especially since the November election.

Note: Thankfully, ACORN is cracking down internally on their own staff – it’s a shame that it takes undercover busts to bring them down, and while the board member mentioned above calls this a “smear” effort, there is one thing she’s forgotten – video doesn’t lie.

See the undercover investigation on video below, it’s shocking.
