Barack Obama dismisses General McChrystal

The punishment was quick to General Stanley McChrystal. 24 hours after the publication of an interview highly critical of the strategy of the Obama administration, the chief of U.S. and allied forces in Afghanistan was revoked Wednesday. The American president has chosen to replace General David Petraeus. “This is a change of the man, not of the strategy,” insisted the Democratic president.
